Job Description

This exciting part-time opportunity combines traditional bookkeeping expertise with construction industry-specific administrative support in a fast-paced project-driven environment. You ll work with cutting-edge construction management software to track project costs and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple active job sites. This role offers the perfect blend of financial responsibility and construction industry exposure providing valuable experience in a dynamic field where your attention to detail directly impacts project profitability. Working remotely on a fixed morning schedule you ll have the flexibility to balance work-life priorities while supporting critical business functions that keep projects running smoothly and profitably.

Responsibilities

  • Process receipts and update project accounts in Notify construction management software for accurate job costing
  • Maintain detailed financial records in QuickBooks and ensure all transactions are properly categorized
  • Handle payroll processing and prepare certified payroll reports required for construction compliance
  • Complete pre-qualification forms for new business opportunities and potential contracts
  • Upload company documents and certifications to various client systems and portals
  • Update individual construction project accounts to track costs and maintain profitability analysis
  • Perform general administrative tasks that support daily business operations and project management

Requirements

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks software with demonstrated bookkeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and financial record maintenance
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn construction management software (Notify)
  • Knowledge of payroll processing particularly certified payroll reports for construction industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup for remote work
  • Administrative skills for form completion and document managementInterest in construction industry operations and project-based work environment
