Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to execute first line maintenance on all utility systems including HVAC cooling towers compressors and generator systems to ensure the efficient operation and continuous running of the manufacturing plant. The job holder will ensure effective implementation and use of manufacturing excellence in delivering the utilitys Key Performance Indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections maintenance passes and servicing of utility systems such as HVAC cooling towers compressors and generators to ensure optimal performance longevity and zero downtime of all utility equipment.
- Respond promptly to utility system breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to minimise production downtime and maintain continuous plant operation.
- Carry out regular safety inspections to ensure that all utility systems comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Ensures the safety of self colleagues equipment materials and employees under his care and implements manufacturing excellence in the departments.
- Collaborate with all teams to provide support and meet their utility needs to ensure seamless factory operation.
- Supervise the activities of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and external contractors on company grounds to ensure compliance with standards timely completion of projects and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment status maintenance activities repairs system performance and incidents for proper monitoring and to keep management informed
Requirements

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Percentage of scheduled maintenance tasks completed on time.
- Total downtime of utility systems due to maintenance and repairs.
- Average time taken to respond to utility system breakdowns.
- Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
- Total production downtime caused by utility system failures.
- Number of safety incidents or non-compliance issues reported during inspections.
- Percentage of time utility systems are available to meet production needs.
