Job Description
Lumino Nelson is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Dentist to join our dental practice in Nelson New Zealand for six weeks in Spring 2025. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a small and supportive environment while providing high-quality dental care to our patients.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures and treatments including examinations fillings root canals extractions and crowns
- Diagnose and treat oral health issues develop treatment plans and provide appropriate recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software
- Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to all relevant dental regulations and standards of practice
Qualifications :
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Current APC in New Zealand
- Proficient user of EXACT Dental Software
- Expertise in dental procedures treatments and the use of dental equipment and instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
