We are seeking highly motivated banquet associate to join our events team! With our 5000 square feet of event space we can accommodate a variety of events including meetings receptions meals conferences. Our guests include international travelers as well as locals. If you enjoy variety in your work this position is for you!

What you will do:
Set up / breakdown banquet meeting space per Banquet Event Order instructions including tables tablecomplements (salt pepper sugar breadsticks etc.) table linens table settings center pieces dishes audiovisual equipment and all other event provisions;
Monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of banquet spaces before during and after events;
Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needs and provide excellent customer service toall guests;
Serve all food and beverages to guests per company standards;
Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation;
Manage audio-visual equipment during events;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents injuries andunsafe work conditions to management; and
Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications

Ability to lift pull and push up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend and squat repeatedly
Ability to walk and stand for duration ofscheduled shift

Flexible to working days early morningsevenings nights weekends and holidays.
Food Safety certificate or completetraining during initial 90 days.
Alcohol certification or complete trainingduring initial 90 days.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
