Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced District Sales Manager to join our well-known independent seed company. In this role you will be responsible for managing sales within a district covering over 4 counties focusing on selling seed products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in seed sales excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales activities within the designated district including prospecting customer visits and closing sales deals.
- Grow and expand the client base within the territory.
- Provide agronomic expertise and support to customers.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote seed products and expand network.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and territory performance.
Salary and Benefits:
In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $90000 to $125000 this position offers commission opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling seed products.
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
- Bachelors degree in Agronomy or related field.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
