The Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute (NHPI) is an innovative non-profit research institute within the American College of Radiology (ACR) with the mission to provide a foundation for evidence-based imaging policy and practice advancement to improve patient care and bolster efficient effective use of health care resources. Our diverse research portfolio includes health services economics and outcomes studies to understand the value and role of radiology in evolving health care delivery and payment systems including quality-based approaches to care and the impact of medical imaging on overall health care costs and patient outcomes. The NHPI provides data-driven thought leadership in the clinical and health policy sphere and maintains a reputation for high-quality research and a strong track-record of peer-reviewed publications that create meaningful advancement in the field of radiology.
Based on these strategic objectives ACR is seeking an Intern to support NHPI initiatives.
As a member of the NHPI team you will:
Assist with and actively observe/learn various aspects of the planning and execution of a health policy research study.
Conduct literature reviews and input information into a database.
Collaborates effectively with the NHPI team and ACR staff for efficient execution of ACR initiatives.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Interest in the Economic and Health Services Research field.
Exposure to the field of Radiology required.
Experience with MS Office Suite required.

ACRs goal is to pay competitively and equitably. It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on each cases circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $7.25-12.00.
