Job Description


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager FP&A to lead our Financial Planning and Analysis function supporting Strategic Decision Making Business Planning and providing crucial Financial Insights. You will play a leading role in Budgeting Forecasting Financial Modeling and Performance Analysis. Your expertise with Looker and Excel will be essential and experience within the Media and Content Industry is highly desired.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop and manage the budgeting forecasting and long-range planning processes.
    • Provide variance analysis and identify key drivers affecting financial performance.
    • Build and maintain complex financial models to support scenario planning and business strategy.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis:
    • Create and maintain dashboards in Looker to track KPIs and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends risks and opportunities.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management with recommendations based on findings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with department heads to develop financial strategies and support operational decision-making.
    • Ensure alignment between financial forecasts and business objectives.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes and reporting systems.
    • Leverage planning tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field MBA preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role with at least 1-2 years of experience leading a small team and/or working closely with the senior leadership team of the company.
  • Proficiency in Looker and Excel (advanced functions financial modeling data analysis).
  • Advance understanding of financial concepts accounting principles statistical modeling and key business drivers.
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience leading finance function in a commerce/retail company

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial planning tools such as Cube Anaplan or Datarails.
  • Familiarity with content-to-commerce business models and digital media metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in designing and developing automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency.

COMPENSATION

For residents of CT NJ or NY the compensation for this role is $140000.00 - $160000.00. Factors used to determine the salary range for a given position may impact what salary within the stated range may be offered to any particular candidate (e.g. years of experience level of education obtained etc.).

This is an exempt role.

The target pay range for this role is between $140000.00 - $160000.00
This role is eligible for a 10% bonus.
