Business Analyst (Remote)KBRs Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of Defense specializing in modeling and simulation cyber transformation air vehicle mission integration and lifecycle support. Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. This position is part-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights. As a Business Analyst you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements analyze data and provide recommendations that support business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes systems and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Develop and present reports dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and track their effectiveness.
- Perform data analysis using various tools and techniques to support decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide support and training to team members and stakeholders on business analysis tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: (Highly desirable):
- Big data background: familiarity with big data projects
- Familiarity or experience with Databricks MS Fabric and/or Power BI technologies
- Experienced inmonitoring supporting and reporting for distributed data systems
- Experience supporting DoD
- Excellent communication skills to convince both business and technical audiences
- Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills. Proven track record of developing relationships at technical partnership and executive levels throughout large enterprises
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies such as Agile Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with software development tools and technologies.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
Work Location: Remote
Compensation: $92400 - $138600.
The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates location knowledge skills abilities and/or experience contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
