The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the design development and maintenance of BI reports and dashboards which provide critical insights to our business units. This role necessitates a combination of technical expertise analytical acumen and exceptional communication skills to effectively translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Report Design and Development: Create maintain and optimize BI reports and dashboards.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights that support informed business decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business units to comprehend their reporting needs and translate those requirements into easy-to-understand output.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports by conducting comprehensive testing and validation.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes data sources and methodologies.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the effective use of BI tools and the interpretation of reports.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in BI reporting data analysis SQL query language
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI QuickSights) SQL Azure and Excel.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is advantageous.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Business maturity/acumen confidence and a high degree of personal motivation and energy (pro-active).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills (planning organizing monitoring follow-up). Must be very effective in anticipating and resolving problems before and as they occur.
- Requires exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in maintaining stable performance under pressure; able to work with intermittent to limited supervision.
