Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled General Builder to join our Facilities & Maintenance Team to help uphold the high standards of our property.
As a General Builder you will be responsible for carrying out a range of building and repair tasks to ensure our hotel infrastructure remains safe functional and visually appealing. Your work will directly support our guest experience and contribute to the long-term upkeep of the property.
Perform general building maintenance including carpentry plastering painting tiling and minor masonry.
Respond to maintenance requests and carry out repair work promptly and efficiently.
Support refurbishment projects structural modifications and general upgrades.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Liaise with other departments to coordinate work with minimal disruption to guests.
Maintain tools equipment and materials in a safe and operational condition.
Proven experience as a general builder or similar role preferably within a hospitality or commercial setting.
Good working knowledge of building materials methods and relevant health and safety regulations.
Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
