About the Role

As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith you are passionate about all things coffee! You will specialise in preparing coffees and other beverages alongside exceptional customer service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to caf standards.
• Greet and interact with customers in a warm professional manner.
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately.
• Restock supplies and ensure front-of-house is always well-presented.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the caf.
• Handling cash and card transactions.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista.
• Must have flexibility to work between 5am and 4pm (20-30 hours per week).
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
