This position will travel in the Eastern US.

Perform field and lab testing of soil concrete grout soil nails micropiles strand anchors and more using ASTM AASHTO and GSI standards
Monitor and document construction activities for QA/QC compliancespotting and escalating issues in real time
Calibrate maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment for field accuracy
Assist inspections generate nonconformance reports and support root cause investigations
Create detailed daily logs test summaries and audit-ready documentation
Collaborate with engineers foremen contractors and project managers across multiple sites
Champion safety and environmental compliance with discipline and consistency
Minimum 2 years in construction materials testing geotechnical fieldwork or QA/QC in a construction environment
High school diploma or GED required (technical training or associate degree preferred)
ACI certification or equivalent strongly preferred (NICET WAQTC ICC a plus)
Familiarity with ASTM/AASHTO procedures and QA/QC systems
Strong documentation and organizational skills under field conditions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and cloud-based reporting systems
Valid drivers license and ability to travel up to 90%
