Responsibilities

What Youll Do

  • Perform field and lab testing of soil concrete grout soil nails micropiles strand anchors and more using ASTM AASHTO and GSI standards

  • Monitor and document construction activities for QA/QC compliancespotting and escalating issues in real time

  • Calibrate maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment for field accuracy

  • Assist inspections generate nonconformance reports and support root cause investigations

  • Create detailed daily logs test summaries and audit-ready documentation

  • Collaborate with engineers foremen contractors and project managers across multiple sites

  • Champion safety and environmental compliance with discipline and consistency

Qualifications

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years in construction materials testing geotechnical fieldwork or QA/QC in a construction environment

  • High school diploma or GED required (technical training or associate degree preferred)

  • ACI certification or equivalent strongly preferred (NICET WAQTC ICC a plus)

  • Familiarity with ASTM/AASHTO procedures and QA/QC systems

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills under field conditions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and cloud-based reporting systems

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel up to 90%

Compensation

  • $20-25 per hour plus overtime
  • 5% Annual Bonus
