Primary Purpose: Under direct supervision perform data entry of confidential student information into the district Special Education student data management system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to use personal computer and software.
- Bilingual preferred (Fluent in both Spanish and English)
- File maintenance skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
- One to two years clerical and file maintenance experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enter all data resulting from the Admission Review and Dismissal meetings and the Full and Individual Evaluations conducted by Diagnosticians and Speech therapists Physical Therapists Occupational Therapists LSSPs etc. on each Special Education Student.
- Transport of confidential student folders between all campuses and central office.
- Mail out ARD notices for all ARD meetings scheduled.
- Copy and send student records to other districts or agencies when a student moves from our district and keeping a database of all records sent.
- Converse via telephone with other districts and agencies regarding student records.
- Maintain all Special Education student files.
- Keep an organized schedule of ARD meetings.
- Assist Lead Diagnostician in the folder audit process.
- Maintain Confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Frequent walking standing stooping bending and reaching.
