Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $12.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 5-10 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
The Internal Affairs Commissioner serves as the Secretary of Student Government. They maintain official documentation manage meeting records and ensure the smooth internal operation of the Senate and Executive branches. This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Record and publish Senate minutes and executive meeting notes
- Track Senate bills and resolutions
- Maintain updated rosters and internal documents
Required Competencies
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Familiarity with governance procedures and document retention
Minimum Requirements
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit throughout the academic year
- Remain in Good Academic Standing
