Job Description
The successful Project Manager will be working on a range of large and small business application projects so a knowledge of software app development and the ability to fully understand the development lifecycle is essential. Work will also involve a range of customer programmes; so experience of working within programmes of change and internal customers would be preferred.
This is an exciting opportunity for lots of opportunities for advancement and an interesting and varied workload.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing any assigned projects to provide the deliverables needed by the business
- Planning the project and monitoring any dependencies with other initiatives
- Managing risks and issues ensuring each has an owner and that appropriate mitigation is in place
- Keeping the project within budget
- Working with third party suppliers
- Ensuring that the quality of the projects deliverables is acceptable
- Working with internal stakeholders
As a Project Manager. you will require the following skills and Experience:
- Professional Project Management accreditation e.g. OGCs Prince2 or PMP
- Solid and demonstrable experience of successful project management
- The ability to deliver projects
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Resilient under pressure and able to work in a constantly changing environment.
