Job Summary:

The Microsoft Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud-based systems and services primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role possesses deep technical expertise in system administration device management cloud services virtualization cybersecurity and cost management.

Essential Functions:

Design implement and manage Cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure

Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange Online SharePoint

Online Azure AD Intune and Autopilot

Manage Azure VM and SQL Server environments and ensure their performance availability and

security

Manage and monitor Azure subscriptions licenses resource groups and cost management

Develop configure and manage Conditional Access policies and comprehensive security policies

Monitor Cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance reliability and security

Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other scripting languages to

streamline cloud operations

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues implementing root-cause analysis to prevent future

occurrences

Conduct regular security assessments and compliance checks within the Cloud environment

Analyze control and reduce costs within the Microsoft tenant and other IT environments

Collaborate closely with IT Consultants Software Developers and project teams to ensure

alignment with organizational goals

Provide technical leadership and training to junior team members and stakeholders

Maintain documentation for system configuration deployment and operational procedures

Enhance company disaster recovery cybersecurity response and business continuity plans

Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science IT or a related field

3 years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect

5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure administration and Microsoft 365 Suite

Management

Certificates Licenses Registrations:

Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104)

Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) or Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert (MS-102)

Experience with Azure CLI or Azure DevOps

Solid understanding of Cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
