GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The WMS Solutions Architect leads the design implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with a strong focus on Datex Footprint and Softeon platforms. This role is instrumental in aligning WMS capabilities with business goals ensuring scalable efficient and innovative warehouse operations
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Design and architect end-to-end WMS solutions tailored to business needs using Datex Footprint and Softeon.
- Lead WMS implementation projects including requirements gathering solution design configuration testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations IT and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration with ERP TMS and other systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation solution blueprints and integration specifications.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on WMS best practices process improvements and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide long-term solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end-users.
- Stay current with WMS trends technologies and industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree.
- 5 years of experience in WMS architecture and implementation.
- Proven experience with Datex Footprint WMS and Softeon WMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations logistics and supply chain processes.
- Experience with system integration (e.g. APIs EDI middleware).
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
