Job Description
**Please note that this position will require travel to both office locations Enfield CT & Simsbury CT. Please do not apply if you are unable to work at both practice locations.**
Duties:
- Greet and room patient
- Take dermatology history chief complaint
- Scribe a dictated exam by the provider
- Set up biopsy trays
- Package and label specimens for shipment
- Clean /stock and set up rooms between patients
- Clean and autoclave & surgical instruments
- Call patients with biopsy results
- Answer phone messages and faxes for the provider
- Assist fellow team members in busy clinic
Qualifications :
- Ability to multitask and self-manage
- Ability to manage EMR system on a tablet
- Ability to speak clearly to patients and staff
- Ability to also work at our Simsbury location
Job Type:
- Full-Time: Monday Friday 8am 5pm with an occasional mandatory Saturday
Experience:
- 1 year Medical Assistant experience required
- Dermatology office Medical Assistant experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assistant certificate is preferred
