Overview
Position: Housekeeper
Location: Ladore
Reports To:House Keeping Supervisor
Availability of Position: ASAP
Schedule: Part-Time some nights and weekends
Salary/Grade: $11.00- $13.00 per hour; 70 Non-Exempt

Position Overview: Performing housekeeping/janitorial services for motel quality cabins and public spaces.
Responsibilities
Description of Position:
- Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping mopping dusting wiping and polishing
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Observe all safety procedures for chemical and equipment
- Operate Ladore cleaning equipment safely and properly
- Notify superiors on any damages deficits and disturbances
- Deal with complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Support mission of Ladore Camp and Conference Center and The Salvation Army
- Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience preferred
- Willingness to learn
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to be on ones feet for long periods of time
- Able to bend reach push and pull
- General Housekeeping experience
- Valid PA drivers license
- As a Mandated Reporter must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.
- Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check.
- Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
