Job Description
We are recruiting an Industrial Door Service Technician to join our field-based team in the southeast of the UK.
The purpose of this role is to installation service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- You will perform installation preventative maintenance and repairs of Industrial Doors
- Trouble- shooting equipment breakdowns.
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
- Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
This role reports into the Operations Manager.
Qualifications :
We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:
- Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e. electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field
- Basic electrical knowledge essential
- DHF or similar quailification is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics preferred but not essential
- Experienced within the industrial door or related industry such as traffic gates/barriers.
- Ability to work at height
- IT literate
- UK drivers licence essential
