Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney Australia but weve made our way from down under to a campus in Austin Texas which is now home to our US operations.

What youd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.

At the moment this role is focused on:

  • Owning the school district lifecycle. Youll own strategy planning onboarding execution and results within identified districts.

  • Fostering relationships with district administration. Youll be responsible for managing the relationships with the key stakeholders and decision-makers at districts and getting them what they need be it technical documentation and support onboarding and implementation help teacher development resources Canva tips and tricks and strategic guidance

  • Serving as an ambassador of Canva for Education with teachers and educators at managed districts.

  • Providing value to customers and to Canva. Youll run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy focused on educational outcomes within districts.

  • Understanding the Canva user lifecycle. Youll establish close relationships with our passionate community of educators and learners to know first-hand what they need to become successful Canva users.

  • Identifying trends and usage patterns. Youll utilize data analysis to shape your strategic approach to sales and account management and to note emerging trends to share with Canvas Sales & Success Product and Marketing teams.

  • Driving retention and engagement. Youll continuously test learn and iterate on our lifecycle strategy at our identified districts to build meaningful and impactful relationships.


Youre probably a match if

  • You have experience with the US District Education Market. You understand classroom efficiency solutions and are able to communicate with Instructional Technology Specialists and teachers on how Canva can improve student learning outcomes through design and collaboration.

  • You have Customer Success Expertise. You are comfortable driving retention and fostering engagement with software solutions at a district level.

  • You have excellent collaboration skills. You enjoy working alongside your direct team as well as with cross-functional teams.

  • You have experience with implementing new technologies. You have a deep understanding of how schools roll out new technologies and how district-wide deployments are most effective.

  • You have effective communication skills. You create clarity through your communication by making complex things simple. You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to customers and the broader team.

  • You have strong business planning skills. You have the ability to move from planning all the way through to implementation and complete projects that deliver high impact.

  • You have experience in community management. You understand social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences.

  • You have a growth mindset. Youre eager to learn and develop your skills whilst having fun along the way!

Our K-12 District Engagement team is a passionate group of education advocates on a mission to reimagine how schools use Canva to inspire learning. We partner closely with districts across the country to bring Canvas tools to life in classrooms-supporting leaders empowering educators and ultimately impacting millions of students.
