As a member of the Facilities and Physical Security team our Facilities Technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or associates degree in a related field preferred and 2-5 years of experience in maintenance repair or a related field with a strong understanding of mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.

Skills and Attributes:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills including experience with CMMS software and hardware.
Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving analytical and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication customer service and teamwork skills.
Proficient in MS Office Google Suite and facilities management software ( 360 FM:Systems).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to climb ladders stairs and work at heights.
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Perform Routine Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspections cleaning and lubrication to ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
Repair and Troubleshoot:Repair and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Install and Upgrade:Install and upgrade equipment and systems ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Maintain Records:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities including work orders maintenance schedules and equipment histories.
Collaborate with Team:Collaborate with other maintenance technicians supervisors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Follow Safety Protocols:Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.
Stay Up-to-Date:Stay up-to-date with industry developments manufacturer recommendations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of maintenance activities.
Work Environment:
Work primarily performed in office environment.
Travel required locally or out of state.
May be required to work outside of normal hours.
The expected hiring range for a Facilities Technician is $21.30 - $26.70/hour depending on skills experience education and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 5%. The current full salary range for this role is $21.40 - $37.70/hour.
