We are seeking our new Cloud Operations Associate to join the Axway team!
This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to develop practical skills in cloud computing. You will be involved in managing and maintaining our Axway products over AWS and Azure infrastructure while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Your key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage AWS/Azure environments for availability and performance.
Assist with deployments system configurations and OS patching.
Manage user roles permissions and security settings.
Perform and monitor automated backups; assist in data recovery.
Maintain documentation for configurations processes and troubleshooting.
Support certificate lifecycle management (SSL/TLS) and encryption (PGP)
Monitor and troubleshoot secure data transfer protocols (SFTP HTTPS)
Analyze and resolve basic cloud and integration-related issues.
Work with REST APIs web services and middleware-based EDI systems
Run SQL queries and assist in database troubleshooting.
Support firewall and storage configurations
Collaborate with application infrastructure and onboarding teams.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS and scripting (Bash PowerShell)
Knowledge of network protocols (e.g. SFTP HTTPS) certificates and PGP encryption
Exposure to REST APIs web services and SQL databases
Understanding of ITIL fundamentals (Change Management Incident Management)
Experience with middleware technologies (preferably Axway products)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a cloud environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Completion of AWS or Azure foundational certification
Experience with cloud consoles or lab environments
Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g. Python Shell Java)
