We are seeking a long-term substitute Kindergarten teacher to work at the Wildwood Early Childhood Center servicing students with and without disabilities beginning on August 21 2025. The long-term substitute Kindergarten teacher will be responsible for the promotion of equity and appreciation of diversity to ensure equitable opportunities for student learning implement specific strategies for students with special needs 504 plans and/or ESL learners. In addition the long-term substitute Kindergarten teacher will be responsible for the following:Effective planning and assessment of curriculum and instructionCreate lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards that meets the individual needs interests and abilities of all studentsEstablish and maintain a safe organized classroom which is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the studentsUse available technology/instructional media to enhance the students learning experiencesImplement the districts mission philosophy of education and instructional standards and objectivesObserve and evaluate students performance and when necessary seeks the assistance of district specialists as required when learning difficulties ariseAssess and document student progress on a regular basis and provide progress reports as requiredSupport school wide behavior expectations in which most students are engaged incorporate mutual respect and provide cooperative learning opportunities Establish and maintain cooperative relationships and open lines of communication with students colleagues and parents concerning the academic and behavioral progress of assigned studentsAttend staff data professional learning community meetings as requiredOther related duties as assigned
