Job Description
As a Process Control Engineer you will design install commission and improve automated process controls systems in a modern industrial setting. You will deploy automated processes to increase productivity improve uniformity of process reduction of waste and elimination of error. You will report to the Global Process Control Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and startup of control strategies for batch manufacturing applications
- Develop high quality well tested and well documented process control system software and hardware:
- I/O definition
- Instruments and related control loops
- Batch System Control Strategies
- Sequencing Strategies
- Full Recipe Control
- Design electrical circuits
- Technical lead on mid-sized projects and ensure the execution and quality of the deliverables.
- Help with system startup and field check-out.
- Evaluate suggest any improvement or retrofit of our existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical mechanical or computer engineering
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with computerized process control and batch manufacturing processes; PLC and SCADA system development; Allen Bradley PLC and GE iFIX SCADA
- PMP certification
