Job Description
Job Summary: Len-Tex Wallcovering is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Selector to join our Shipping department. The Stock Selector will be responsible for receiving storing finished goods and preparing production materials for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read picking tickets and other shipping documents to determine items to be moved or shipped.
- Complete Cycle Counts and resolve discrepancies daily.
- Move wallcovering into storage racks by pattern and SKU number.
- Store marketing materials in racks by type and pattern.
- Fill orders for wallcovering and marketing materials by pulling these from storage racks taking apart bolts as required and packaging final orders. Accurately label each bolt for each order by SKU number and yardage.
- Keep storage racks neat and orderly. Ensure items are accurately sorted by SKU and labeled as necessary.
- Operate Hi-Low Order Picker and Forklifts safely and according to procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
- Strong reading and writing skills.
- Ability to grip lift manipulate and carry up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Ability to use hand tools such as a hammer and utility knife.
- Ability to work standing on feet for two to three hours between breaks.
- Number comprehension (distinguish correct order lot color numbers).
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 to 12 months of previous industrial experience with an acceptable safety record.
- Prior order filling/selecting experience preferred.
