Compensation: $100-125K
Location: San Diego
Were seeking a Controller to oversee and lead the financial operations for a company in the construction industry. This is a key office-based role responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting driving budget and forecasting processes and providing strategic insights to leadership.
What Youll Do:
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including AP AR payroll and general ledger
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Lead budgeting forecasting and cash flow analysis
Coordinate with outside CPA firm for audits and tax filings
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Provide job cost analysis and support project managers with financial reporting
- Manage construction project administration monitoring and tracking change orders
Implement and maintain accounting systems and process improvements
Supervise and mentor accounting team members
What Were Looking For:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
5 years of experience in accounting preferably in construction or related industry
Good understanding of job costing WIP schedules and construction accounting
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with leadership
