Job Description
Spitzer Chevrolet in Amherst is looking for passionate team members who want to deliver a high level of service to our customers while growing their career at a top regional employer The Driver will forward information by pick-up and delivering automobiles documents or equipment to various locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load vehicles with listed goods ensuring goods are loaded correctly and taking precautions with fragile goods
- Drive vehicles to reach destinations to deliver products and messages or materials
- Unload and sort items collected along delivery routes
- Receive messages or materials to be delivered and information on recipients such as names addresses telephone numbers and delivery instructions communicated via telephone or in person
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
- Deliver messages and items such as newspapers documents and packages between locations and to other establishments and private homes
- Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route
- Obtain signatures for documents or goods if applicable
- Record information such as items received and delivered and recipients responses to messages if applicable
- Performs other related duties as assigned
