POSITION SUMMARY:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration and support of the server and application infrastructure with the assistance of the I.T. Department staff members and third-party contractors support. Administers assigned Windows Server(virtual and physical) Linux and database system instances in an enterprise environment and works to improve our infrastructure to enable faster and more efficient deployments as well as the security of our cloud and on-premise environments. Collaborates and communicates with staff consultants and other appropriate parties in a professional and team orientated manner. Will provide tier two support and administration for infrastructure and applications for all company stakeholders and customers.
This full-time exempt position reports directly to the Infrastructure & Applications Supervisor and is located onsite in Olympia WA. Systems Administrators generally work Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm but may be asked to work an altered schedule on occasion. Local travel to other company locations and training seminars will be required from time to time. Responsibilities herein represent typical elements and criteria considered necessary to perform the job successfully.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer Microsoft infrastructure solutions such as Windows ServersandActive Directory DNS Group Policy and File Services in an enterprise environment.
- Design implement and administer System Backups and Data Integrity.
- Analyze and resolve complex Virtual Cloud or On-Premise Systems and Server Application software issues while handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Provide after-hours escalation support and responsible for responding to after-hours core system status alerts.
- Provide tier 2 level administration and support of Enterprise-wide applications such as SAP and Office 365.
- Monitor and review information from materials events or the environment to detect or assess problems.
- Participate in long-range objectives and strategy planning.
- Participate in project activities with other personnel or departments.
- Conduct research to gain information about products standards and processes.
- Identify system data hardware or software components for infrastructure or enterprise applications.
- Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
- Research test or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet emerging business needs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field In lieu of a Bachelors Degree an Associates Degree is acceptable with additional years of related work experience.
- Proficient experience implementing administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019 operating systems.
- Proficient experience with implementing and administration of Microsoft Server Active Directory Group Policy management and Certificate management.
- Three (3) years experience implementing administering and supporting server virtualization systems and software such as VMWare ESXi Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Services and third-party products.
- Three (3) years experience supporting and administering Microsoft environments to include Officer 365 Active Directory and Windows Server operating systems.
- Three (3) years experience supporting and administering Enterprise-wide applications such as ERP WMS HRMS etc.
- Intermediate experience with software License Management
- Excellent team player with a proven ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the department head and departmental team members to discuss projects budgets systems network and security issues or concerns and proposals of change.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the user community providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Ability to document develop implement and/or refine processes procedures policies and proposals of change.
- Ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies with the ability to look for areas of improvement and provide proposals of change.
- Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Valid Drivers License is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Certifications: MS O365 Azure Administrator Azure Security SQL
- VM Ware Certification
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent bending sitting standing lifting overhead reaching and climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time when required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods when performing work in the field.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Wage Range (DOE): $72250 - $120000 per year
