JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for cutting raw material and/or trimming printed stock to customer specifications various cutters. Performs cutting operations to close tolerances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checks material to be trimmed against production order for accuracy.
- Determines whether trimming is necessary prior to final cutting.
- Determines lift size (number of sheets) per cut to maintain tolerance ranges within precise limitations.
- Performs cutting operations to close tolerances sets back stop clamp pressure keeps cutter square changes blade and checks with supervisor for approval before cutting job.
- Blocks stacks feeds cuts retrieves and re-stacks sheets.
- Maintains production records as required.
- Records cutting waste. Measures or weighs as necessary and dispose of material as indicated.
- Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on cutter trimmer and other equipment.
- Inspect machine guards for safety compliance.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
