The Role:
Proactively manage purchase ledgers addressing issues with insurers and staff
Ensure timely settlement of purchase invoices in line with payment deadlines
Maintain accurate audit trails of all postings and transactions
Make and record payments in compliance with FCA regulations
Manage company procedures including staff expenses and company credit cards
Identify and escalate anomalies in accounts with attention to detail
Reconcile bank and supplier accounts accurately and on schedule
Build effective working relationships with colleagues Client Directors and Account Executives
Maintain accurate and timely client records in bespoke systems
Support the achievement of team and business objectives through excellent client service
Keep up to date with relevant regulatory requirements and best practice through ongoing CPD
Exhibit the highest standards of professional behaviour in a regulated environment
The Person:
Strong administrative organisational and numerical skills
Previous experience working in a finance or accounts role ideally within a regulated environment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Effective communicator with colleagues at all levels
Commercial awareness with a proactive and solution-focused approach
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
Competent user of finance systems and Microsoft Office
