Job Description Summary
Student supervisors are vital to the success of the Phonathon fundraising program at Chapman; they help train monitor and mentor student callers to become the best ambassadors to speak about their Chapman experience. As a student supervisor you are making a difference by helping callers fundraise for the Chapman Fund which supports student scholarships and the most pressing needs of the Chapman community. Responsibilities
Serve as a student supervisor for the Phonathon program. Establish an open and engaging line of communication between direct supervisor student supervisors student callers the university and its supporters. Train new and returning student callers throughout the semester(s) and provide ongoing support and mentorship throughout the program. Monitor callers calling (alumni parents and friends of Chapman) constituents. Adapt to program changes while maintaining a positive attitude and work environment. Call constituents (alumni parents and friends of Chapman) to build rapport update demographic information and acquire gifts to the Chapman Fund. Support the program by making special calls and other special projects as assigned throughout the semester(s). Perform assigned administrative tasks using Microsoft Office calling software and donor database. Handle personal information with extreme confidentiality. Commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of one semester being a Phonathon caller. PCI trained. Student Employment will conduct background check
