Per Diem opportunity for an experienced Board Certified Pediatric Intensivist in Beautiful Charleston South Carolina
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to provide per diem coverage at Summerville Medical Center (SMC)just 30 minutes from Charleston!
Your Clinical Scope
- 6-bed PICUwith 2 observation beds
- Level III NICU support
- Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
- Inpatient pediatric floor ER consults
- 24 hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
- Procedures include: intubations LPs line/chest tube placement CPR
- 2024 Census: 373 pediatric admits 85 PICU admits ADC: 4.1
Subspecialty Support
- Onsite: Pediatric Surgery GI ENT Anesthesia Radiology
- Telemedicine: Pediatric Cardiology

Qualifications
- Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care with recent experience required
