We are currently seeking a Corrosion Prevention Advisor in Monahans TX. In this role you will conduct cathodic protection surveys corrosion control services and corrosion inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements for pipeline and facility assets for our pipelines system right of way. What you will do:

• Performs regulatory-driven cathodic protection surveys and maintenance to ensure compliance and prevention program efficiency.

• Test and troubleshoot cathodic protection system and equipment to ensure effective operation.

• Tests inspects maintains and troubleshoots assigned rectifier bond test stations and coupons.

• Support the atmospheric corrosion inspection and maintenance program to maintain equipment integrity and ensure compliance.

• Apply Pipeline Compliance System (PCS) software to record monitor and evaluate cathodic protection and atmospheric corrosion data to ensure compliance with company and regulator requirements.

• Assists in planning work and contributing budget related information as required consistent with the annual budgeting process.

Who you are:

• You possess a certification diploma or degree in corrosion technology or related field.

• 4 or more years of related experience with cathodic protection systems.

• AMPP/NACE CP Level I Certification or higher or Equivalent Certification.

• Effective interpersonal skills. Self-motivated independent innovative responsible and a phenomenal teammate with a strong work ethic and initiative.

• Role requires a valid drivers license which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

• Has a valid passport and able to travel within Canada and the US.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment for 70% of the time.

• Travel is 30% primarily driving.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping kneeling lifting (objects up to 50 pounds) bending stooping climbing crawling pulling hand over hand reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
