Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Flutter-based mobile and web applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing test plans identifying defects and working closely with our development team to deliver high-quality products

Key Responsibilities

• Develop execute and maintain detailed test cases for both mobile and web applications ensuring adherence to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.

• Perform thorough manual testing across various platforms and devices to identify bugs and usability issues.

• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for both mobile and web applications.

• Conduct API testing to validate backend functionality and data integrity.

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Report track and manage defects through their lifecycle from discovery to resolution using frameworks like Github Clickup or Jira.

• Participate in sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives to contribute to the overall development process.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications.

• Strong expertise in automated testing principles and practices.

• Proficiency in scripting for automated test tools.

• Extensive experience with API testing.

• Demonstrated ability to develop effective test cases for TDD.
  

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with various testing tools such as Postman for API testing.

Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools like Selenium for web applications and Appium for mobile applications.

Knowledge of Silk for test automation is a plus.

Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines particularly with tools like Jenkins.

Understanding of Flutter development ecosystem.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
