Job Description
This is a new role serves as the Public Information Officer related to the digital content of the Departments websites. responsible for the oversite of posting approved digital content to the website using the content management system (Drupal);
Giving direction to data entry processors. Candidates will need to apply style guidelines to produce high-quality and accurate work in accordance with NYSDOTs and NYSs policies and strategies for digital communications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Four years of experience in public relations and digital communications or a bachelors degree or masters degree/ in: Communications English Public Relations Digital Communications.
*Substitutions: An associates degree may be substituted for two years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A collaborative team player.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong visual and design skills with expertise in formatting and layout principles.
- Skilled in using web content management systems (CMS) ideally Drupal.
