Job Description Summary:


Shoots produces and edits graphics for internally-produced videos which support strategic priorities for Nationwide Childrens Hospital. Utilizes both ENG and documentary-style videography and assists in organizing and coordinating video shoots delivering content aligned with marketing and organizational needs.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Serves the organization in the role of marketing videographer editor and producer. Oversees concept development storytelling scripting and project briefs.
  • Acts independently during video shoots executing on all elements of production including filming audio lighting and location logistics.
  • Builds and maintains hospital video archive system.
  • Oversees Video Marketing technology equipment and software needs.
  • Uses analytics and consumer insights to develop and enhance videos ensuring key messages are delivered in a compelling way and that NCHs videos are helping to accomplish goals.


Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in communication broadcast journalism film or related field or equivalent experience required.

Skills:

  • Highly skilled in all aspects of production including filming lighting audio and editing and post-production.
  • Expert use of professional camera equipment and professional editing software required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple assignments and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of content marketing content optimization search engine optimization (SEO) and social video hosting platforms preferred.
  • Must possess an attention to detail and ability to quickly sort through complex subject material to create videos with original b-roll sound and graphics.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and assist with maintenance of Video Marketing editorial calendar.


Experience:

Experience as a TV photojournalist preferred.
