As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer youll deliver high-quality technical solutions on projects for both public and private sector clients across sectors such as education healthcare defence pharmaceutical and commercial. Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied project portfolio
- Prepare designs feasibility studies reports and contract documents
- Assist with building analysis and design calculations
- Liaise with clients contractors and other design disciplines
- Help manage project programmes to ensure on-time delivery
- Ensure work complies with health and safety standards and best practice
- Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to the wider teams technical delivery
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- HND degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- A good understanding of BS7671
- Familiarity with design software such as Amtech/Hevacomp/Dialux
- Experience with AutoCAD and ideally Revit MEP
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative proactive approach
- Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting design
- Awareness of structured wiring and security system design
- Understanding of current legislation and sustainable building standards (Low/Zero Carbon Technologies BREEAM)
