Locum Physiotherapists Inpatient & Outpatient Roles (Ipswich)
Location: Ipswich QLD
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Locum (6 weeks)
Working Hours:
Outpatient: 30 hours/week (Monday to Thursday with potential to increase to 38)
Inpatient: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Working Rights: Applicants must have full working rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for these roles.
We are currently seeking two locum physiotherapists to support our valued hospital partners in Ipswich. These immediate-start roles offer the opportunity to work within experienced multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality rehabilitation to clients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Outpatient Physiotherapist Group Rehabilitation
This role involves the delivery of structured group rehab programs within an outpatient clinic. Youll be working alongside an Exercise Physiologist with up to six clients per group supporting a range of presentations with goal-directed therapy.
Key Features:
- Clinic-based group rehab delivery
- MondayThursday 30 hours/week (potential to increase)
- Mixed session lengths with up to six clients per group
- Supported by an onsite Exercise Physiologist
- Were looking for someone who:
- Has experience in outpatient physiotherapy
- Is confident delivering group-based rehab
- Communicates well and enjoys team-based practice
Inpatient Rehab Physiotherapist Hospital Setting
Based in an inpatient ward this full-time role supports clients recovering from orthopaedic surgery neurological events and other acute presentations. Youll play a key role in assessment intervention discharge planning and care transitions.
Key Features:
- Fast-paced hospital environment
- Diverse caseload (e.g. post-surgical neurological orthopaedic)
- Active involvement in discharge planning and care transitions
- Liaison with outpatient teams as needed
Were looking for someone who:
- Brings solid experience in inpatient rehabilitation
- Is confident managing varied and complex caseloads
- Has a collaborative approach and strong clinical reasoning
