Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiography Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive and technologically advanced environment providing high-quality cardiac ultrasound services to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac anatomy and function.
- Assist cardiologists and other physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other staff to ensure excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 years of hands-on experience in echocardiography or cardiac ultrasound.
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification preferred. Candidates must be registry-eligible and obtain certification within 14 months of hire.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required within 6 months of hire.
