Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 50069.88
Shifts: 4-on 4-off (2 days 2 nights 42 hours per week)

About the Role
A leading UK food manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a key role in maintaining essential production equipment delivering both proactive and reactive maintenance and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
You will work within a fast-paced highly regulated setting where engineering reliability and attention to detail are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fault diagnosis repair and preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery.
- Support safe compliant operations by adhering to Health & Safety GMP HACCP and COSHH requirements.
- Work with PLCs and automation systems (Mitsubishi experience is desirable).
- Liaise with production and other departments to support operational goals.
- Accurately log completed work via the Computer Maintenance Management System.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Requirements
- Time-served Electrical Engineer with relevant qualifications or apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ideally food or FMCG.
- Proficiency in electrical fault finding and mechanical maintenance.
- Familiarity with PLC/servo drive systems (preferably Mitsubishi).
- Good communication skills a team-oriented approach and a flexible attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene standards and site-based safety systems.
