Job Duties

A. Provides HR Customer Service Solutions to Internal and External Customers
B. Completes HR Transactions and Reporting
C. General HR Duties
D. Recruitment and Selection
E. Workers Compensation
F. Benefits transactions
G. Training
H. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas and programs including workers compensation and benefits preferably as they apply to employment with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with both internal and external customers and employees at all levels of the organization.
Able to provide interpretation explanation and resolution of issues related to organizational HR policies and procedures. Proficient with the use of computer systems and software including Microsoft Word Excel Gmail and HRIS systems.

Additional Considerations

PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
Notary Public or willing and eligible to become a Notary preferred. Bilingual Veteran
