Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Axis Spine Team!
This position will be 3 10-hour shifts!
The Registered Nurse will direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Responsible assessing & providing for vascular access with the appropriate device to include peripheral IV midline or extended dwell IV PICC lines Port A Cath access/de-access. Administering conscious sedation under the direction of a physician or CRNA. Caring for patients who are receiving conscious sedation. Individuals in this role perform such duties as performing peripheral midline PICC Intravenous access. Assessing patients for an appropriate intravascular device. Monitoring/assessing patients receiving conscious sedation before during and after receiving conscious sedation. Other duties as assigned.
