Job Description

Space Systems Command Director Action Group (DAG) Support - Journeyman Administration Professional

Location: El Segundo CA - Full Time

Summary

GC2IT is seeking a motivated and capable professional at the journeyman level to support the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC). The ideal candidate will bring foundational experience in space systems operations and a demonstrated ability to analyze coordinate and contribute to complex mission requirements. This position requires a proactive mindset strong organizational skills and the ability to support cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality results aligned with SSC objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:Provide comprehensive program management support including planning execution and monitoring of space systems projects. Ensure alignment with SSC objectives and deliverables.
  • Technical Analysis:Conduct detailed technical analysis and assessments of space systems including performance evaluations risk assessments and feasibility studies. Provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Systems Integration:Facilitate the integration of various space systems and components ensuring seamless interoperability and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve integration goals.
  • Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to space systems projects. Ensure compliance with SSC standards and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication:Engage with stakeholders including SSC personnel contractors and other relevant parties. Provide clear and effective communication to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance:Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability in space systems. Conduct regular audits and inspections.
  • Training and Support:Provide training and support to SSC personnel on space systems operations and maintenance. Develop training materials and conduct workshops as needed.
  • Innovation and Research:Stay updated on the latest advancements in space systems technology. Conduct research and propose innovative solutions to enhance SSC capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Aerospace Engineering Systems Engineering etc.).
  • Proven experience in space systems management and support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of USSF and SSC standards and guidelines
  • Clearance: Secret (minimum).
