You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a Licensed Surveyor to lead and manage all aspects of our telecom-related survey services. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading and growing our survey operations providing technical expertise overseeing quality and compliance and helping to drive new technologies and continuous improvement across the team.
This is a dual field/office position requiring a balance of hands-on field responsibilities and office-based coordination QA/QC and leadership. Fieldwork will mostly be completed in Minnesota and Wisconsin but could require travel (sometimes overnight) to other states. The office work can be conducted from your home but you also have the option to work from our Madison WI office if you prefer an onsite or hybrid work environment.
This position is well-suited for an individual who enjoys working in the outdoors year-round with exposure to all types of weather and challenging site conditions. Our projects sometimes require a quick-turn which means someone in this role should be comfortable with being given a short notice of where and what they need to be doing the next day.

In this role you will lead and manage all aspects of telecom-related survey services with a focus on quality control compliance staff mentorship and efficient project execution. You will get to collaborate with project managers engineers and CAD staff to align survey efforts with broader project goals to meet our clients needs.
This position oversees the full cycle of survey operations - from scope development and field coordination to drafting and final QA/QC; managing projects survey assignments and team workloads to meet client expectations.
You will utilize your license by reviewing and sealing plats ALTA/NSPS land title surveys and other required documents per regulations. Your expertise will be utilized to guide the implementation of advanced survey technologies automation processes and data collection tools to increase accuracy and efficiency.
The ideal candidate is licensed in Minnesota and capable of obtaining licensure in Wisconsin with the goal of ultimately managing and growing the Survey Department. You will have at least seven years of progressive experience in land surveying including leading teams and managing field-to-finish workflows.

Familiarity with telecom-specific deliverables such as 1As tower lease exhibits access/utility easements and FAA/FCC requirements is helpful in getting up to speed most quickly.
Physically you must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds complete hand excavations and set corners/stakes with a large hammer.
