Job Description
JOB TITLE: Coating Machine Operator
DEPARTMENT: Coating
REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor
PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
Associate will be knowledgeable in the preparation of PCBs and assemblies for conformal coating thorough understanding of machine operation material mixing application and quality requirements.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Set-up operate and perform routine maintenance of conformal coating equipment.
- Preparation of PCBs and assemblies for conformal coating
- Mixing of coating material
- Operation and set-up of both automated and manual conformal coating
- Perform conformal coating inspection and touch-up as required responsible for quality of product produced from coating machine
- Reliably produce quality workmanship consistent with IPC or equivalent standards.
- Pass IPC certification for CIS including all Libra required modules.
- Able to follow written instructions and provide feedback.
- Cleaning and housekeeping in accordance with requirements
- Perform other tasks as assigned within the qualifications and training received.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous work experience where attention to detail was a primary job requirement
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification
- Basic knowledge of Windows based computers MS Word and Excel
- Minimum one year electronic manufacturing experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position will work in both front and shop environments.
- In the shop you will be exposed to airborne particles moving mechanical parts machines and material handling vehicles. PPE is required in this shop area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing duties of this job the employee is required to have good hearing and sight.
- You will need to be able to walk the shop floor and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
