The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority is seeking a highly motivated and skilled communications professional to support community engagement public education and stakeholder outreach initiatives. This Public Information Officer 1-3 plays a key role in raising awareness about CPRAs coastal restoration and protection projects fostering collaboration and enhancing public understanding of Louisianas coastal challenges and solutions.
The Public Information Officer (PIO) will work closely with Outreach & Engagement (O&E) staff to facilitate CPRAs public communications. This includes collaborating on the creation of engaging video photo written and graphic content for CPRAs social media platforms website and print materials. The PIO will also assist in preparing press releases speeches articles and other public-facing materials and will help plan and produce press conferences ceremonies project dedications board meetings and other special events related to CPRAs programs projects and plans.

Compensation: The maximum salary for the Public Information Officer 3 is $84302 annually.
