What Were Looking For



Lighthouse Electric is hiring a QA/QC Specialist with an emphasis on Medium Voltage scopes of work. This role is boots-on-the-groundsupporting our installation teams by enforcing quality standards training field teams managing documentation and maintaining compliance across multiple projects and jurisdictions.



This is not a clipboard job. Youll be deeply involved in active construction sites ensuring quality across splicing termination testing documentation and energization activities. Youll work closely with our QA/QC Manager and MV field teams to raise the bar on execution quality and field reliability.


    What Youll Own



    • Support field QA/QC activities on assigned projects especially for Medium Voltage installations (up to 35kV)
    • Mentor field teams on QA/QC procedures documentation and MV best practices
    • Track and report inspections tests non-conformances and corrective actions
    • Maintain project-specific QA/QC documentation and ensure traceability via SharePoint QuickBase and other platforms
    • Collaborate with Project Managers Foremen and Owner Reps during pre-install meetings
    • Review and approve MV-related contract submittals and quality specs
    • Support field installations for code compliance and spec adherence
    • Support BOM creation scope planning and scheduling for MV scopes
    • Contribute to training efforts on MV terminations testing safety and commissioning
    • Maintain manufacturer certifications and technical competency in MV systems


    What You Bring



    • Minimum 5 years of electrical construction experience with strong understanding of QA/QC systems and Medium Voltage installations
    • IBEW Journeyman Inside Wireman certification preferred or equivalent experience
    • Proficient in interpreting drawings cable schedules and QA/QC documentation
    • Familiarity with codes and standards: NEC NFPA 70E NETA IEEE
    • Comfortable with project-based travel across multiple IBEW jurisdictions
    • Experience using Bluebeam Quickbase SharePoint PlanGrid and Microsoft Office Suite
    • High attention to detail solid communication skills and ability to lead without authority
