Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association the following position is being posted for the period of June 24 - July 1 2025 or until filled.
Reading Specialist (3rd 5th Grades)
- Part-time (5 hours/day)
- Building: North Canton Intermediate School
- Effective Dates: 2025-2026 School Year
- Main task will be to provide small group reading instruction and intervention in both a small group setting and/or in a push-in setting in the core classroom
- Should be knowledgeable of and have experience in diagnosing reading deficits and administering progress monitoring assessments
- Required Licensure: Candidates must have at least one of the following:
- PreK-12 or K-12 Reading Endorsement
- Middle Childhood (4-9) English Language Arts or Reading
- Elementary (K-8) or (1-8)
- Primary (PreK-5)
- Early Childhood (PreK-3) and Generalist (4-5)
