Why Your Role Matters:
UNSWs Education Focused roles (EF) enable academics to specialise in education and devote their time to delivering high-quality teaching and pursuing initiatives to enhance the educational experience of our students. Those who are appointed to this prestigious specialism will be expected to successfully drive educational excellence within the universitys teaching and learning communities.
The position is a12-month fixed-term 0.4 full-time equivalent (FTE) appointment and based in Canberra. The role of Lecturer reports to Head of School Systems & Computing and has no direct reports.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
A PhD in Cyber Security or related discipline and/or relevant work experience
Demonstrated experience in Information operations cyber-crime laws and cyber-crime prevention strategies
Demonstrated experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level development of teaching materials meaningful assessment design and online delivery methods
Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales).
